Last Saturday I took part in a micro residency at Jackson’s Lane, leading to an 11 minute showing of the work so far on new show Step Ball Change. I worked with vintage dance choreographer Holly France, and we developed the initial material from our week at the national centre for circus (aka Circus Space) into an act using tap, charleston and walking ball. A big thank you to all at Jackson’s Lane for accommodating us, the sharing was great and we got really positive feedback from the audience.
We also had photographer Lauren O’Brien in to take some promo shots including those for the cute GIF above. I can’t wait to see the rest of her work!
